Ryan Maddox is a 3rd Year from the Indianapolis Area majoring in Public Policy Analysis with minors in Urban Development and Korean. He previously served as USG of GA/Specialized at IndianaMUNC V and Vice Chair of the Organization of American States at IndianaMUNC IV. He is on the Model UN travel team where he has won multiple awards including Best Delegate. When not focusing on sustainable transportation policy (which is hardly ever), he enjoys rock climbing, being on the Indiana University Breakdance Team, and serving on the IU Funding Board. This past summer, Ryan interned at Korea University in Seoul researching the economic policies that allowed Korea to become one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Ryan will be interning as a Public Finance Investment Analyst on Wall Street starting in May.

Madeline Garcia is a second-year student studying Law and Public Policy from Avon, IN. This is her sixth year doing Model UN and second year on the conference staff. She enjoys meeting new people, reading the news and learning new things. Outside her academic and extracurricular activities, she loves doing photography, crafts and mixing EDM tracks. She is looking forward to this year's conference and is thankful for the opportunity to serve as Director General for IndianaMUNC VI.

Nicholas (Hayden) Hodge is a 3 rd year from Chesterton pursuing a triple major in economic consulting, public policy analysis, and business analytics, in addition to a minor in political science. He previously served as the USG of Crisis for IndianaMUNC V and as an understaffer for the UNSC Congo Crisis Committee at IndianaMUNC IV. Outside of the conference, Hayden has competed extensively with the IndianaMUN travel team and has found great success, winning multiple best delegate awards. In
addition to MUN, he enjoys serving on the executive board for the Business Economics and Public Policy Club. Hayden spent his summer working a job at the Indiana University Auditorium here in Bloomington.

Chief of Staff

Ashley Sharpley is a sophomore studying Public Policy Analysis and Business Law at the Kelley School of Business. She has previously served as the director of conference services at Indiana MUNC V and is in her second year on the Model UN travel team. When she’s not studying or feverishly researching niche international policy, Ashley enjoys reading everything from memoirs to fantasy and bad reality TV that makes her feel like she's got it all together. Ashley is looking forward to making this year’s conference the very best it can be!

USG Operations

Ruhan is a second-year student from the Indianapolis area studying Political Science and pursuing an honors business certificate with the Liberal Arts Management Program. Ruhan previously served as the Director of Logistics for IndianaMUNC V and is also a member of the travel team where he enjoys competing in fast-paced small crisis committees. Ruhan is highly involved on campus through his various board positions with organizations such as the Muslim Student Association and the College Luminaries Program. When Ruhan isn’t writing, reading, or in meetings, he enjoys hanging out with all of his Kelley™ friends, watching his favorite TV shows, or repeatedly refreshing his twitter feed waiting for the latest updates on the 2020 election.

USG Strategy

Alejandro Barrett López is a fourth year from Buckinghamshire, England and Guadalajara, Jalisco. He studies History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies. He is currently writing thesis papers on ‘British Imperial Effort in the Malay Archipelago during the 19th Century’ and on ‘Catholic Soteriology and Martyrdom in Mexico’s Cristero Rebellion.’ He previously has served as Crisis Director for IndianaMUNC V’s Ad Hoc about Mexico’s 1968 Student Movement, and as the Chair for the European Commission specialised committee at IndianaMUNC IV. He has spent a significant amount of time of his free time in IndianaMUN’s Travel Team when he ought to be resting. When not working on his academic pursuits or self-inflicted MUN work, he mostly reads for enjoyment and mutters darkly about Tolkien. His eyesight is truly awful.

USG Crisis Committees

Grace Riley is a 3rd Year from the Louisville, Kentucky area majoring in Law and Public Policy with minors in History, Political Science, and Criminal Justice. She previously served as Vice Chair of the AD-HOC Committee of the Secretary General at IndianaMUNC V and Crisis Under-staffer for the Soviet JCC at IndianaMUNC IV. When not focusing on Model UN she enjoys being a member of Phi Mu sorority and participating in Indiana University Dance Marathon. This past summer Grace spent the month of June in Ireland studying conflict resolution, and the rest of
the summer conducting an internship with the prosecutor's office in the Louisville area.

USG GA & Specialized

Leo Banks is a 2nd year from Indianapolis pursuing majors in international studies with a focus on global development and sociology as well as a minor in history. As a member of IndianaMUN Leo is especially fond of GA committees and their emphasis on quality research and writing and looks forward to the solutions proposed at this years conference. When not obsessively checking the news for the latest developments in international affairs, he can be found practicing his cello, reading, planning environmental protests, and generally lamenting the amount of money he has spent on chai lattes. He spent this past summer at school studying Chinese through IU’s Summer Language Workshop. P.S. Yes the scooters are electric, no, that does not mean they are good for the environment.

USG GA & Specialized

Marria Peduto is a 2nd year student from Indianapolis double majoring in International Studies and Chinese Language & Culture through the Language Flagship Program with minors in Marketing, Southeast Asian Studies, and the Peace Corps Prep Program. During IndianaMUNC V, she served as a a crisis understaffer in the Bellevue Hospital committee. She is a traveling member of the Model UN team, Ambassador for the Hamilton Lugar School and Hutton Honors College, and Hoosier Host for the Luminaries Program. After living in Chengdu, China in high school through the U.S. State Department’s NSLI-Y program, Marria now serves as the Midwest Alumni Ambassador for the NSLI-Y program. When she’s not busy studying for her next 听写 (Chinese Quiz), you can find her cooking, kayaking, or searching for cheap flights to foreign countries.
