Position Papers

Delegates in the General Assembly and Specialized Committees are expected to write position papers prior to the conference. For each committee topic, this paper should outline the assigned country’s stance, highlight key concerns and national interests, explain the historical context and current challenges, and propose realistic, cooperative solutions that the delegate will advocate for throughout the conference. One full page per topic is expected.

 

Delegate position papers are due by Sunday, February 7th, 2027. Position papers should be emailed to the Under-Secretary-General (USG) responsible for each committee type. Any questions delegates have for their committee should also be directed towards the USG responsible. The appropriate individual and emails are listed below:

Note: No crisis committee at IndianaMUNC XII will require a position paper.
