IndianaMUN is the 26th-ranked Model UN program in North America for 2024-2025, aiming to educate its members about current global issues, topics in international relations, diplomacy, and the official United Nations organization. IndianaMUN Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and our mission makes us one of the most affordable ways to travel on Campus, offering you the opportunity to travel and compete in places like Montreal, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and more!

Members step into the shoes of diplomats representing a nation in a simulated session of the United Nations, such as the Security Council or the General Assembly. Members research a country, take on roles as specific diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and ultimately develop solutions to real-world problems.

However, MUN doesn't stop at the United Nations. Our delegates simulate diverse historical committees such as the Sons of Liberty, the Soviet Space Program, and the Roman Senate. Members may even have the chance to simulate fictionalized topics that teach real crisis management, from Jurassic Park's Board of Directors to a post-apocalyptic government. Model UN has something for everyone.

Through these activities, members will have the opportunity to travel, meet students from diverse universities, expand their social networks, and develop as thinkers and global citizens. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to help host our two conferences: IndianaMUNC, the largest high school Model UN conference in the state of Indiana, and HoosierMUN, the only ranked collegiate Model UN conference in Indiana.
