About IndianaMUN
IndianaMUN is one of the largest and most well-funded student organizations on campus. We boast the highest ranked travel team and the largest high school conference in the state. For the 2017 - 2018 year, our team was ranked #30 in all of North America and awarded Best Student Organization at IU. We have the resources to give you unforgettable experiences, the talent to develop and grow you professionally, and the devoted community to begin building your home at IU.

Simulations
In a Model UN simulation, you are assigned a nation to represent as a UN delegate and a UN committee in which you will debate a current, relevant UN topic. You will give speeches and work with other students to find solutions and write "resolutions". At the end, awards are given to the best delegates.

Training &
Development
In a simulation, delegates debate using 'Parliamentary Procedure'. Our organization accomodates both those who are already familiar with parliamentary procedure and those brand new to it. Additionally, we hold activities and practices designed to sharpen debating and networking skills.

Travel
Model UN Simulations, or 'Conferences', take place in venues across the country. Our team has traveled to Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Berkeley, with many more trips planned. As long as you pay your member dues ($125, financial aid available), all travel costs will be covered by the team.
Our Board of Directors
Per university regulations, we are organized as a non-profit corporation, 501(c)3 status pending. Meet our board of directors for the 2017 - 2018 year.
